Kirstofia

An anthology of writing and art about the four film collaboration of Sofia Coppola and Kirsten Dunst (The Virgin Suicides, Marie Antoinette, The Bling Ring and The Beguiled). The anthology will include poetry, flash, art, and essays about these form films. It’s open for submissions until November 1st, and you can submit up to three pieces for consideration (any mix of genres) to kirstofia@gmail.com — please submit work as a word file or PDF.

For inspiration we’re publishing a piece of poetry about each of the films below. Two of these poems are by the editors (Kristin Garth on Marie Antoinette and Marisa Silva-Dunbar on The Beguiled) and will be included in the editorial note at the foreward of the anthology. The first are by the first contributors accepted for The Bling Ring (Clem Flowers) and The Virgin Suicides (Adrian Ernesto Cepeda). We look forwards to reading more work and publishing a beguiling book for The Daily Drunk in November. Each previewed work is introduced by the section of the book that they will be live inside.
